Early Montagnais Panel Bag

Dimensions: 15 ¾ inches by 10 ½ inches (including fringe)
Material: Brown Jesuit wool cloth with remains of indigo-dyed silk ribbon on top edging. Native tanned-hide drawstring with beaded ornamental drops.

Overall excellent condition with losses to silk edging, minor bead loss, and slight discoloration to brown wool on verso. There are two related examples at the Peabody Museum at Harvard.
